The material environment of the mother bloggers and WAHMs consists of a designated work space at home. They set up a part of the house or convert a room into a home office or the bedroom doubles as a work space. Some find it more convenient to carry a laptop around the house and work on the bed, floor, table, or kitchen. They have also embraced the mobile lifestyle and write in many places outside of the house like in the car, coffee shop, or venue of the event being covered.

I love learning. I study online on my free time and also invest in improving myself like in a writing workshop designed by Mamacademy Ph for mothers like me.

These mother bloggers and WAHMs possess the skills necessary to maintain a blog and drive traffic to the site.
Still, they invest in learning and development to continuously hone their knowledge and skills and update to industry standards. They allocate time for self-learning, identify model bloggers to emulate, seek the guidance of local or foreign coaches and mentors, and set aside money for paid courses.
A reliable internet connection is a blogger/WAHM's lifeblood while an array of equipment is her ammunition. They invest in the internet connection, technological devices and applications, and learning and development using their own financial resources and earnings from the blog, freelancing, and business.
Since the priority is family over work, the mother applies boundary integration by being open to valid interruptions and incorporating minibreaks to accommodate the needs of the children.
